One of only 30 finalists in the Bluethumb art prize out of over 2000 entries, this painting, the largest in this current collection, shares my love of angophora costata at sunset. As the crimson light makes a final flare in the sky before the sun sinks behind the horizon the tree trunks are lit up with a glorious cadmium red glow.
