Peter Griffen Australian, b. 1948-
Peter Griffen was born in Henley Beach, Adelaide SA, in 1948
Griffen, whilst mentally immersed in the vibrant colours of the Australian outback, starts a chaotic journey, then takes control, discovering new images through synthesis and simplification. The newly discovered forms become ancient landscapes speaking from the past.
