Ted Dwyer UK, Australia, b. 1969

Overview

Ted Dwyer b. 1969- United Kingdom. Lives and works in Australia.

Ted Dwyer is a mood landscape & seascape artist from Sydney, Australia.

“The unique light, space, and colour - as well as the extreme conditions - of the eastern seaboard of Australia, all change profoundly between the seasons, as well as from dawn to dusk.

In my work, I remove all human traces from this shifting and ancient landscape, from the coast to the interior, to evoke some form of emotional response in the viewer. Each person will have their own personal response to my work, but I am interested in exploring themes such as solitude, spirituality, silence, tranquility, time, awe and wonder.”

Ted has been chosen as a finalist in prestigious art prizes such as the Mosman Art Prize in Sydney, Australia and his work is held in private collections in Australia, the UK, USA, Singapore & France.

Ted is represented by Brenda Colahan Fine Art, Sydney.
