Same river twice,
And yet the blade of grass responds
To the warm summer evening breeze.
It’s 8 o’clock in the evening and the sun
Warms the skin.
Long shadows flicker.
A cloud blots out the pink light
Momentarily.
Momentarily,
I’m in love with here,
now.
